Iona Students Shine at Youth Model United Nations Conference

Iona College proudly sent four exceptional students to this year’s Youth Model United Nations Conference at St. Joseph’s College. Stella and Nicola van der Meer from Year 10, along with Gursagun and Chappell from Year 9, represented UN member state Ethiopia.

Their task: advocating for the 2023 Sustainable Development Goal of ‘Zero Hunger.’ These students presented a compelling position statement for Ethiopia and collaborated effectively with peers from various schools.
