Change of venue for Information Evening
The venue for the upcoming information evening has been change due to overwhelming demand. Initially the venue was St Mary’s Parish Centre, however we’ve changed to a larger venue at St Joseph’s College, Newtown in the Performing Arts Centre (PAC) (see map). The scheduled time and date remain the same, Wednesday 27th March at 7pm. Families are advised to enter the school grounds via Queens Rd entrance.
Given we’re receiving daily interest in the College and there still remains a large demand for some smaller group sessions, we plan to release some additional dates and times from the start of Term 2. Another news update will be sent out shortly and bookings can be made online via the College website.
The response from the community has been overwhelming with each ‘Meet the Principal’ session being booked out. Approximately 100 sessions to small groups of three families at a time have been hosted and it’s has been a privilege to share the vision for our new College with so many families. Enrolment applications coming in steadily and we are already well on track to meet our first-year enrolment goal of five streams of year sevens.
Applications for Iona College close on Friday 17 of May. Applications can be completed on-line via the Enrolment Form and enrolment information along with frequently asked questions are also on the College website.
