Building Works Update

  • Stage 1 – Complete (start of 2020)
  • Stage 2(A) Oval – Complete
  • Stage 2(B) Gymnasium / Food Technology – Complete
  • Stage 3 Specialist Facilities (Science, Art, Technology, Multimedia, STEM) – Complete
  • Stage 4 Administration and Student Services Centre – Complete
  • Stage 5 General purpose classroom facilities, Gymnasium and Food Technology duplication – Complete

At the end of 2023, we commenced the next stage of the Iona building project, which was completed at the beginning of 2025. This stage will included establishing fifteen general-purpose classroom facilities and associated office spaces and facilities, duplication of the College gymnasium inclusive of retractable seating for 1000 people, staging and associated audio-visual enhancements along with the duplication of the Food Technology facility. Significant car park works were also be undertaken which will allow for an increase in bus services.

The next stage of development is the development of the new library, student services and administration centre. This will allow for the relocation of music and performing arts to our current temporary College Administration and Student Services building.

These new facilities will accommodate the learning needs of students from Years 7 to 12 as well as enhance the future provision of VCE, Vocational Major, VET and equivalent programs undertaken in the future at Iona.

Student Uniforms

  • Formal uniform purchase is compulsory.

ICT

  • Cost of laptop is included in fees.
  • New laptop allocation in Year 10.
  • Insurance is included.
  • Repairs for a damaged device completed at school, however there is a $100 excess charged to parents for daramage outside of warranty.
